High Marks For “Welcome to the Neighborhood”

Don’t you love it when you wake up to HAPPY news. I received an email this morning and it directed me to The Romance Studio’s website. “Welcome to the Neighborhood” got rave reviews and 4 hearts!

This story begins with Meaghan finishing a workout in her home, wondering if her neighbors are watching. We next move next door to find Miguel watching her from his office and becoming aroused. His partner Whit enters and he is also aroused by Meaghan and the two start having hot, carnal relations in the office. We return to Meaghan who has seen them and begins to watch, not having any idea before this how excited it would make her. Both Whit and Miguel are almost obsessed with their new neighbor but haven’t really had the gumption to see if she’d be interested in joining them as their ‘third’.

We learn a little at a time about Meaghan and what brought her to move into the house next door to the boys. The boys have been living together for six months or so as a couple, but they both seem to want Meaghan as much as they want each other. Apparently as full of attraction and desire as the three of them are, they spend a lot of time watching each other and either masturbating or having sex. I will be completely honest here, I was afraid since the first thirty percent of the story involved them watching each other that this would be only a story about voyeurs and I didn’t select it for that kind of story.
Luckily, Ms. Brook and Mr. Tyler did not leave me hanging. It was very amusing the way the two of them told the story about the three characters. I really liked Meaghan, and how she reacted to certain things, sexual and otherwise. Whit and Miguel were great. The biggest criticism I have is the length of the story. It is only twenty one pages and I totally think it needs at least a few, or ten pages more! I’ve read and reviewed their first joint effort together, New Beginnings, and it was great. And yes, I will be reading more as they release it!

Happy Hump Day Indeed!

It’s cold and rainy outside but I’m still smiling. Why you may ask? Ok, the photo below is sexy as hell. No denying she has great breasts and cleavage. However, that’s not why I am so happy. The gracious BadBard, has struck again. Today, she showcased “Girls’ Night Out” on her BLOG. If and when you can stop staring at the photo, please venture down past  it and read the rockin’ review.

“Girls’ Night Out” Amazon link

“Emily has been fantasizing about being with Neeka for weeks. When they go out to the movies Emily thought it was just a girls night out at the movies but when she admits her attraction for Neeka things heat up quickly.

Neeka had never suspected that sexy dance teacher wanted her. When Emily admits her attraction it leads to an explosive night, one she hopes will lead to more.

Weeks ago I was discussing with some friends on the Changeling Press loop that there wasn’t enough female/female romance out there. There is a lot of male/male and being a reader who likes to read all genres I always thought that there should be equal amount of both types of gay fiction.

Then I read Kameron Brook and realized that this is exactly what has been missing. Like the other novellas I have read from Kameron Brook the sexual scenes sizzle. But you also like the characters. Even though you meet Neeka and Emily for a short time, you cannot help but want to read more.”
