Corrine has spent a long time running. She finds sanctuary with a wolf pack after the Goddess sends her a vision that threatens to rob her of her mate. Her actions to save him come with grave consequences. When one mate turns into two, Corrine returns through the Veil seeking help to reverse what she’s done.
Wolf Alpha, Gabe Errikson has spent years pining for a woman who he thought wasn’t meant to be his. When he finds out Corrine has been keeping something from him since day one, he wonders if he will be able to forgive her.
Braxas Beaumont, a cougar Alpha, knew from the moment he laid eyes on Corrine that she was his mate. He also discovers quickly that his long-time friend, Gabe, is hopelessly in love with her as well.
Can two powerful Alphas come together to save the woman they are fated to from a darkness that is unlike anything they have ever known? Or will they be bound to their fate?
“Before we go, there is something I have been meaning to do for quite a long time, Corrine.”
Braxas let go of her hand as well, and she looked from one to other with suspicion.
“I think you need to be reassured that you belong to Braxas and me. That we are both fully committed to you.”
“I believe you,” she threw in quickly. Braxas assumed that she did not need her seer abilities to know where this was heading.
Gabe however, continued as if she hadn’t spoken. He held up his right hand in a fist, his knuckles facing forward and popped his forefinger up. “You ran from us.” Next up came his middle finger. “You didn’t tell us where you were going.” His ring finger followed. “You lied.” Then his pinky. “You’re very haughty.” And finally his thumb. “You are way too stubborn for your own good.” He tilted his now open and raised palm to the right, poised to strike a particularly beautiful derriere.
“Anything else?” she responded in exactly the haughty manner that Gabe’s fourth finger had coincided with.
Gabe smiled slyly. “That’s reason enough for now.” He lowered his hand and placed it on his knee. “Hike up your dress and come lie across my knees.”
Corrine leaped to her feet. “So you can spank me like some wayward child? I think not.”
“No, so I can spank you like a lover spanks his woman when she aggravates the hell out of him.”
Corrine’s mouth opened on a silent O, and a blush swept over her face and neck. Braxas inhaled her sweet scent of arousal and felt the pressure of his cock straining against the zipper of his jeans. Gods, he wanted to be inside of her. “That shade of rose looks lovely on your cheeks.”
Corrine’s head whipped in his direction. “You’re just going to let him do this to me?”
Braxas chuckled. “Let him? Hell, I encourage him. I have no doubt that all three of us are going to enjoy it immensely.” He smiled widely at her. “Especially if that lovely rose color blooms across your ass as well.”
She opened her mouth as if she had something to say, but shut it just as quickly. She took one step towards Gabe and paused, looking from one to the other. Braxas knew she was excited by the prospect of being spanked by Gabe while he watched, but he also sensed her trepidation. In the end, fear won out, and their little doe, temporarily mesmerized by headlights, broke her own spell and bolted out the door.
Gabe stared at the empty doorway as he spoke. “Tell me something, Braxas. Do cougars like the chase as much as wolves do?”
Braxas smiled widely again, but more for himself since Gabe still stared straight ahead. “Indeed we do.”

It’s a difficult task writing a story that has a solid plot, good foundation for the next installment in a series, and has the right amount of heat without scenes coming across as sexually repetitive. When an author (or authors, in this case) orchestrate a ménage scene, they attempt to deliver moments where each orgasmic driven word leaves you fulfilled as much as the last. No author wants their vision to be viewed as stale or repetitive. I must say, Sarah/Elena/Maia stories would NEVER be construed as dull or boring.
These three gals have once again shown us their imagination has no bounds when it comes to delivering a solid storyline and inventiveness between multiple partners. They managed to convey pain (physical and psychological), weaved in a bit of Fae history, and also introduced new characters when one of their own was taken, harmed, and used as a pawn in war.
As much I loved Braxas/Gabe/Corrine’s story, I think I’m going to heart Alak/Aeron/Katrina’s tale even more. She’s fierce, ballsy, a true warrior — golden skinned beauty. Alak is a smart-ass, cocky male while Aeron is the calmer, more charming sibling. Both are sexy as hell with long, black braided hair. Oh and they have tattoos. <Swooning>
Ladies, get to writing because their story is sure to be a magical hit!

All Marisol Lewis had ever wanted was a family, but her ex-husband back on Earth made sure that would never happen while they were together. Now? After waking up on an alien planet, she has a plan, and she’s more determined than ever to see it through on her own.
Luca and Baelion are dragon shifters with a troubled past. Shunned by their own people, they now work for the Coalition Council taking rescue jobs that no one else can do. They manage to find Marisol when she gets abducted–but their rescue plans take a wrong turn, and they all end up stranded on a dangerous, quarantined planet.
Mari finds out the hard way that life often gets in the way of best-laid plans…and dragon shifters most definitely do get in the way of hers.
Good thing for her that dragons are naturally quite stubborn once they decide they want something–and they’ve decided she’s theirs.
“You’re so wet for us already,” the low sexy timbre of Luca’s voice only made her want him more. “I need to taste you.”
“Later, Luca. I need you right now.” She moaned as Baelion took one of her aching nipples deep into his mouth. “I can’t wait. Please.”
She boldly moved her legs farther apart, planting her feet flat on the mats. It was an unmistakable invitation—one Luca didn’t disappoint her on. He quickly rid himself of his shorts and then moved between her thighs, rubbing the swollen, thick head of his cock along her wet folds.
“Luca, stop teasing me.”
His only answer was a low growl as he slowly pushed his length inside of her, his eyes locked on hers. It was extremely intense. His gaze never left hers as he filled her up.
“Watching you take him is so fucking hot, Mari.” Bae’s voice from beside her snagged her attention. His own blue eyes were locked to where their bodies joined. He ran one finger down her stomach until it lightly made a slow path around her swollen clit, causing her to moan and tighten around the hard shaft buried deep within her.
“She’s so warm and wet, Bae. Feel for yourself.” Luca grabbed Baelion’s hand and guided it lower to where the root of him met her body.
Mari’s hips bucked up when Bae continued to rub a trail along her folds and then back up to her clit. Meanwhile Luca set a leisurely pace, thrusting in slowly and then retreating. She could feel the pressure building inside of her, and she sighed when Baelionmoved to capture her lips in a slow kiss.
The two of them continued their sensual torment, never letting her set the pace or tempt them to lose control. Bae had her arms gently pinned above her head with one hand. The thrill of being completely under their control seemed to electrify all of her senses. They were true to their word, completely tender in their care for her—but there was an intensity to their actions that was different than before. They were loving her so intently that it was her undoing.
“Oh God.” She whimpered into his mouth as Luca’s firm but steady pace lit her up until she was just on the cusp of orgasm. “Please, I need to come.”
“Come for us, little one,” Bae murmured as he finally pinched down on her swollen button, causing her to spasm all around Luca’s shaft.
“Yeeeessss.” She moaned as she came. All of the tension in her body finally broke and swept her away in a warm rush of pleasure. Luca pushed deep one last time before he joined her, groaning her name.
Baelion still slowly stroked her as she came down from the high, Luca still buried deep inside of her. There was certainly something to be said for slow and steady. It was a different type of pleasure than the passionate coupling from their previous encounter, but no less impactful. It was more intimate. There was more tenderness in their touch, and it melted her.
“How are you feeling, Mari?” Luca leaned forward to slowly sip at her lips. She opened her eyes when he stopped, only to see that he had moved to kiss Baelion as well.
“Much more relaxed,” she murmured, hypnotized at the sight of their lips and tongues moving together. Her satiated libido suddenly roared to life once again as Luca withdrew his spent shaft from her and settled himself this time behind Baelion.
“And what shall we do with you, love?” Luca reached over the other man’s hip, moving lower until he grasped Bae’s turgid length and stroked it slowly. “Let us take care of you now.”
“I don’t want to make Mari sore.” Bae’s voice was quiet and strained with desire as she joined her hand with Luca’s on the other man’s cock.
“I’m fine, Bae,” she whispered, leaning in to lick at his neck. “I promise.”
“Move closer and give me your leg, Marisol.” Luca released Bae’s cock and pulled her thigh up to rest over both of their hips, opening her up to them.
She moaned when the wet tip of Baelion’s cock rubbed up against her sensitive clit, loving how hard he was for them. When he slowly slid into her, they both let out a long breath. He was slightly thicker than Luca but felt oh so good as he stretched her.
“Neither of you move.” Luca’s voice was thick with desire once again as he reached for the remainder of the julla leaves and collected the thick gel on his fingers before returning to his position behind his mate.
Baelion tightened his arms around Mari’s waist as he groaned low in her ear, his hips bucking slightly against her. She had a pretty good idea what Luca had done, and when he was once again tight against Bae’s back, she leaned over and kissed him, moving her hips slowly, working the thick length inside of her.
“Ahh, Goddess, this feels amazing.” Bae panted as Luca began to thrust into him and Mari continued to move along his shaft. “It’s too much. I can’t last long.”
She had a feeling that was Luca’s intention as he bit down on Bae’s shoulder, making the other man cry out as his hips bucked furiously, taking her breath away every time he slammed against her swollen clit. Mari could feel the force of Luca’s thrusts as he took Bae’s ass.
“Do you like being fucked by both of us at the same time, love?” Luca whispered into Bae’s ear, the dirty words only increasing her desire.
“Yes, I love it,” was Bae’s breathless response, sweat beading at his temple and then slowly making its way down the side of his face.
“Mari, come on his cock.” Luca locked eyes with her. “Make him come inside of you.”
She nodded and bit her lip as she reached down between their straining bodies. Her fingers slipped in the wetness before finding purchase, and all it took was two passes over her clit before her orgasm hit. She tightened around Bae’s shaft, urging him to find his own release.
“Mari!” he bellowed before sinking deep inside of her one last time. She could feel the tremors flow through him as he came hard, his peak, in turn, bringing Luca as well. His roar of completion rang out into the quiet night.
First Marisol discovered her husband, Jordan, had a secret vasectomy. Then, she wakes up on a alien planet, abducted by slave traders. Most women probably would be curled up in a ball, crying for a way home (Earth). But Marisol isn’t like most women. She decided to embrace the change and move forward with her plans to have a child. It involved signing a contract for donating her genetic material for a surrogate but, in the end, she would be able to afford the in-vitro treatments to birth her own offspring. Sounds pretty straightforward. No fuss, no muss. Oh, no, things definitely didn’t go as smoothly as she hoped.
She was kidnapped AGAIN and this time landed herself on a dino inhabited planet where there were monkeys with poisonous bites.
Things did take an upswing for her though. She wasn’t alone. She had two sexy men (dragon shifters) by her side. Her dragon rescuers used nature’s materials to create her a nice saddle with seat belts for an easier and safer riding experience. Oh, lets not forget they gave her a thorough and pleasurable riding experience while in human form, too — on more than one occasion. 😉
So really, when people say things might look better with a change of scenery, I guess they are right. Marisol only needed to travel lightyears away from home to find her HEA.
I’d like to end this review with a few final, quick thoughts.
**Dino meat taste like chicken? Really, not surprised. 🙂
**Mitch from How I Met Your Mother (episode, The Naked Man) was right — The naked man move will work “two out of three times, guaranteed”…. Poor Delegate Bromm, better luck next time. 😛
**14 month long pregnancy? Umm, pass!
Based off my quick three thoughts, I can’t see how anyone could pass up this short story. Really, the entire series is a must read!

Sarah Marsh was born in British Columbia where she still lives, she has only recently began her writing career finding it the perfect outlet for taking the edge off a nine to five office job. Sheís been a science fiction and romance junkie for years and when her imagination started to take the characters sheíd read about even further in their adventures she decided to try writing something of her own.
Sarahís also a former pastry chef and spends a lot of time cooking and baking for friends and family as well as painting and knitting. Her biggest weaknesses are animals of any kindÖshe even loves the ones that wake you up at four in the morning because they can almost see the bottom of their food dish.
When it comes to life in general sheís a big believer that laughter is the best medicine and that thereís no such thing as too much love, which is why sheís such a sucker for a happy ending.
Small town raised with conservative values, Janelle has recently graduated from college. Her job search has been fruitless so far and she is facing mounting debt along with pending eviction from her apartment. When she finally receives a job offer, it is both unbelievable and disturbing. The offer requires her to cruise the world on a fabulous yacht for a year with all expenses paid. It also requires her to sell herself for that year in a Master, slave, relationship. The wages she will receive are beyond her wildest dreams, over a million K for the year. Will Janelle accept the offer or turn it down because of her conservative values?
She slipped into the seat and dug into her briefcase, taking out one of her resume folders, which she placed on the desk and slid across to him. For a moment, Mr. Davis left the folder containing her resume untouched, and instead, openly studied her. Janelle shifted uncomfortably as his gaze traveled from her face and down. His brazen stare caused her to picture him inspecting a piece of meat at the grocery. One that he was contemplating purchasing. Instinctively, she clamped her legs closed.
“This interview is going to be unorthodox, Miss. Lawson, but your answers will carry more weight than your credentials. If I like them, I will offer you a job, if not…” he shrugged his shoulders.
Great, no pressure here. She squeezed her hands forming fists and resisted the urge to dry the sweat that developed on her palms on her skirt.
Mr. Davis opened the folder containing her resume and scanned it quickly, then slowed as he read the second page containing her personal information. “I see you’re from Oklahoma, and I presume a small town since it is unfamiliar to me.”
“Yes, it’s in the panhandle of northwestern Oklahoma.”
“Are your parents there?”
“My parents are dead.”
“I see. I’m sorry for your loss, Miss Lawson. What about a boyfriend…or girlfriend.”
She jolted at his question and wondered what it had to do with anything in an interview. “No boyfriend. I do have friends who are female, but that isn’t what you’re asking, is it? I don’t have any close ties if that is what you’re asking.”
“Good. I say good because the job will require extensive travel. Having close ties would complicate things. And yes, I was implying a female sexual partner.” What is your opinion of sex?”
His question sent shock waves racing through her. What type of interview is this? “Excuse me, sir?”
“You heard me.”
“Um, if you’re asking if I’m a virgin the answer is no. I’ve had boyfriends but don’t currently have one. I feel there should be a strong emotional attachment between a man and woman before sex enters the picture.”
He pressed his lips tight. “Okay, please stand, Miss Lawson.”
Shit! Wrong answer, I’m being dismissed.
“May I call you Janelle?”
“Janelle, please unbutton your suit jacket and turn slowly.”
What the hell? She did a slow pirouette as asked.
When she faced him again, approval shown in his eyes. “You are a very attractive woman, Janelle.” He examined the sheet of paper on his desk. “You’re height and measurements?”
You’ve got to be kidding! The thought of her mounting bills and desperation over possibly obtaining the job loosened her tongue and she divulged the information he asked for.
“Thank you.” He picked up his desk phone. “Kevin, would you please come over here to my office?” He nodded over his steepled his fingers.
Another man joined them while she still stood next her chair. He took station beside Mr. Davis. Kevin, she assumed, was just as handsome, with short, blond hair, blue eyes, and broad shoulders. Just like Mr. Davis, he wore an obviously expensive three-piece suit. He examined her openly, then said to Mr. Davis, “She’ll do just fine if she desires us to employ her.” With no further words, Kevin left the room.
Mr. Davis dug in one of the desk’s drawers and placed a sheaf of papers on top. “Please sit, Janelle,” he said, gesturing to the chair. He slid the papers toward her. “I know you’re confused right now and wondering what this is about. I will tell you a little about the job requirements, but this contract will explain them in greater detail.”
“Okay,” was all she could manage. This interview was far different than she had ever imagined.
“The job will require you to travel and live abroad for a year. Most of the time you’ll be living on a yacht that belongs to Mr. Parker and me.”
“And what will my work entail?”
He ignored her question. “I’m certain you’re curious about many things, including your salary. Your salary will be 85K—”
Her jaw dropped open.
“Per month,” he continued.
It opened wider.
“The job will begin in six months—”
Her heart fell to her feet. “Um, sir, I don’t know if—”
“You can survive financially for that long,” he finished for her. He scanned the paper. “I’m well aware of that. I know a lot about you, Janelle. After you called yesterday, I did extensive research on you. I know you’re behind on your rent and your other bills. If you decide to accept the offer, those will be taken care of for the six months before the job actually begins, including having your student debts paid in full. Trust me, you will be busy preparing for the six months and you won’t have the time to worry about finances. You’ll continue living in your apartment because moving would be pointless since you will be leaving when your job starts. The rent will be paid ahead for the entire six months. You’ll receive eight hundred dollars per week to live on.” He peered into her eyes. “I’ll be frank with you, Janelle. Your attitude towards sex will need to change. During your employment, I will be fucking you. You’ll sort of be my girlfriend.”
Holy shit. Did he say what I think he just said? She studied Mr. Davis closer. Janelle estimated him to be in his early thirties. Okay probably ten to fifteen years older than me, but for that kind of money, I’ll be your paid girlfriend.
She grinned. “Despite my statement, I’m not a prude concerning sex, Mr. Davis, and having sex with you will not be a problem. You’re a handsome man. Besides, the generous salary you’re offering buys a lot of attitude change. What else will I be doing?”
He glanced at his watch. “I’m sorry to cut this meeting short, but I have another appointment. Read the contract; it contains more details about your employment. If you agree to the terms, sign it. I will need your decision one way or another by this time tomorrow. Thank you, Miss Lawson. I’ll see you at two.”

Growing up, most of us have played cops and robberies, superheroes, spy games, or something of that nature. For those of us with children, we have seen the good guy – bad guy playtime trend continue on. It’s the thrill of the chase, desire to go on covert missions, being a secret agent, stopping an enemy target and so forth that keeps seats filled for movies such as Mission Impossible, Bourne series, 007 and the list goes on. The cinema even captures the interest and hearts of the younger crowd with movies like Spy Kids, Toy Soldiers, and (yes) Austin Powers series.
No matter what role we see ourselves in — fighter, assassin, brainiac, mad scientist, villain, damsel in distress, double agent, or the dying hero — there’s a place for us all and so viewers keep shelling out money for their love of action and adventure. Rest assured, you’ll get plenty of explosive action in Kayos: The Bad & The Worse. Unlike some movies, you’ll NOT walk away from KAYOS thinking you wish it had more booms, surprises, heartaches, gun battles, or action. Tracy DID NOT falter in the deliverance of the triple A’s — action, adventure and awesomeness.
Oh yeah, she also treated us to a few smoochie moments. 😉

Which is why she writes sweet stories about tough love.

(review request submitted by the author for an honest critique)
The true sign of a great murder mystery novel is the ability of an author to leave you befuddled who was the killer. Connie gave us many suspects, motives, and yet I was not completely sure I knew who was the proper prime suspect. I also wondered how she was going to tie the murder and theft together & was impressed how thoroughly she linked the two crimes.
She also left us enough breadcrumbs for sequels: What will the future hold for Gideon and Wrenn? Have we seen the last of Elmore, Lucas and Clay? (Surely not) And what about the mysterious Gina Frawley? Will we ever learn what became of her?
So even though the villain (killer) enlightened us about why Trey had to die and details regarding the thievery at Eastwood University, readers will have have enough unanswered questions to have them coming back for another chapter in the life of Wrenn Grayson.
Well done, Connie!

When you’re writing a book series, the last thing you want is for your readers to grow tiresome of reading the same ideas. It’s a difficult task to continue a storyline without it growing stale, repetitive and losing its appeal.
I’ve been reading KC since the start. For me, her books stand out among the crowd because she pairs the unlikeliest of couples. She doesn’t have couples immediately succumb to their desires and live HEA (happily ever after).
No, she has each pair show their strengths and weaknesses and how they are better-stronger together than apart. And yes, through this there are some bah chicka wah wah moments. Hell, this is a paranormal romance series so bring on the nakedness!
In the instance of Shadow’s Seduction, readers will most definitely see action of the lustful kind. Two men, vamp and demon, will find themselves mated and engaging in some panty-wetting scenes. There’s biting, sucking, domination, and horn licking. KINKY! 😉
There’s also missions, laughter, heartache, and heart break.
And for the ending….
These two sexy paranormal gents are officially mates but all is not quiet. They are about to go on another mission to save Mina, Mirceo’s sister. (Cliffhanger)

An all new second-chance love story by the New York Times Bestselling author of the beloved Driven series.
It all started with the invitation. To my ex–fiancés wedding.
I should have ignored it.Thrown it away. Set it afire. But I didn’t. I replied.
With a plus one.
Enter Hayes Whitley. Mega-movie star. The man who has captured the hearts of millions. But I gave him mine years ago. He was my first love. He was my everything. Right until he up and left to chase his dreams without so much as a simple goodbye.
When he showed up out of the blue ten years later, I should have known to steer clear. I should have rejected his offer to take me to my ex’s wedding and told him he was crazy when he suggested we act like a couple to show my ex, it’s true, I could do better than him.
But I didn’t.
And now we’re left wondering if the pieces of the life we once shared still fit together somehow. First loves are hard to forget. The question is, do we want to forget? Or do we risk the chance and see what happens next?
There are few books that I finish and immediately want to start again. This is one of them.
While the beginning started off on a lull, the story really started to pick up steam and get steamy once Hayes and Saylor headed off to paradise island for her ex’s wedding. You’d think a situation where you are venturing to your ex-fiance’s wedding, a place where you’re loathed and mocked at, would be disastrous. However, Hayes made the time there memorable with his adventures, playfulness, and overall sweet nature. Love that was lost was found again.
With that said, his stardom did bring its own share of drama during their weekend away. Love was tested and almost lost again. With a battle on his hands, Hayes brought his A-game for sure via his social media posts, his romantic gifts, and (in the end) proving ACTIONS DO SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.

When Callie MacCallum sews her first quilt after the death of her lover Jack Sebring, she doesn’t realize she’ll be drawn into a Sebring family battle between wife and daughter-in-law. She simply wants to fulfill her promise to Jack to visit their cabin in the West Virginia mountains, where their long love affair was safely hidden. Instead, her emotionally reminiscent trip becomes crowded with the two Sebring women, a grief counselor, and the massive role Callie assumes. She must speak for Jack in order to protect his four-year old grandson Chad from his stubbornly manipulative and blame-passing grandmother and his recently widowed and power-usurping mother. Callie understands both women grieve the loss of Chad’s father. He died when a raging storm split the tree that crushed him. Grief isn’t the only common thread running between the four women. One by one, their secrets are revealed on the West Virginia mountaintop.
~~ A scene from Wild Raspberries ~~
Out in the street, ten-year old Carson Tillman from next door rode his bike in circles, watching the proceedings.
After loading Arnett’s things, Lizbeth slammed the cargo door. She turned to Beebe. “We’re ready,” she said.
Beebe made an arm gesture that gathered Arnett, Lizbeth, and Callie into a line at the foot of the drive. Carson’s bike jumped the curb. He ground it to a stop nearby. The nosy boy might have thought the ladies were posing for a send-off photograph.
A breeze kicked up Beebe’s crop of straw-colored hair so that it stood out from her head like a crayon drawing of the sun. She raised her right hand into oath-taking position, then used several upward gestures with her left to prompt the others to hoist their hands as well. Beebe recited a pledge, breaking it into five chunks, which the others repeated in unison.
“I hereby swear an oath to honesty. From this point forward, I promise to provide fully factual information and will express my feelings earnestly and without reservation.”
As all the hands dropped, Carson, a respectfully polite tattletale, his broad mouth gleaming with dental hardware, announced, “Miss Arnett had her fingers crossed.”
Lizbeth’s mouth flew open. Her gaze jumped off the boy and landed on Arnett. “How could you?”
In a teacher-to-student tone, Beebe said, “Show me your hands.” Arnett complied. “Do you swear to this honesty pledge?”
“Yes, I swear.” Arnett glared at Carson. “Are you satisfied?”
He shrugged and pedaled away.
Chappell does a wondrous job allowing her words to speak for her characters, immersing the reader in scenes where dialogue would have typically done the trick.” ~~Maxy Awards
