Amazon Kindle Link

Book Description (from Amazon site)

Warning this lesbian drama contains erotic scenes and strong language.

This is a story about a female football player, Jacks. She is the goalie for Islington Ravers, a small team fighting for a chance to be noticed. Her life is disrupted when she discovers that her girlfriend of two years has done something so unthinkable to betray her.
This is a lesbian erotic drama that will take you on a journey filled with love, hate and romance.
The sex scenes and language are explicit and not intended for anyone wishing to purchase your usual mainstream erotica.

Review

If you’re looking for a straight up love story with
only happy moments, then this isn’t the story for you. In this short story,
Jacks encounters MANY lows before she meets “the one” aka Beth. She
has to deal with a cheating girlfriend, a boss from Hell, and much more. After
reading this, I’m sure you’ll be thanking your lucky stars you haven’t been
dealt her cards. If you have, I feel for you.
With any erotica story, you expect sex scenes and
Shiralyn delivered on those several times over. Jacks was a very busy gal. 🙂

For the football scenes, I know next to nothing about the sport but I felt like, at times, I was watching a match. Good job!

Review:
Whether you crack open a LL book or read it on your e-reader, there are certain things fans are accustomed to find in her stories – sexy and sexual characters, twists and turns in the plots, and oodles of intense love scenes. Once again, LL did not disappoint. Without giving away spoilers, I will say we find out more into the reasoning behind the Slasher targeting the Callahan cousins, their loved ones, and any one who’s been sexual involved with them.

Is this the end of the Slasher? Well, I can’t very well tell you that. You’ll just have to read it and see for yourself.

Review of “Shadow’s Claim” – Kresley Cole

HE WON’T BE DENIED

Trehan Daciano, known as the Prince of Shadows, has spent his life serving his people—striking in the night, quietly executing any threat to their realm. The coldly disciplined swordsman has never desired anything for himself—until he beholds Bettina, the sheltered ward of two of the Lore’s most fearsome villains.

SHE’S BOUND TO ANOTHER

Desperate to earn her guardians’ approval after a life-shattering mistake, young Bettina has no choice but to marry whichever suitor prevails—even though she’s lost her heart to another. Yet one lethal competitor, a mysterious cloaked swordsman, invades her dreams, tempting her with forbidden pleasure.

A BATTLE FOR HER BODY AND SOUL

Even if Trehan can survive the punishing contests to claim her as his wife, the true battle for Bettina’s heart is yet to come. And unleashing a millennium’s worth of savage need will either frighten his Bride away—or stoke Bettina’s own desires to a fever pitch. . . .

If you love the IAD (Immortals After Dark), then you are going to adore the first in a series about “The Dacians”. In Shadow’s Claim, we are introduced to the very interesting clan. Trehan Daciano, last born to the House of Shadows and the first to get his own story, is sexy – extremely lethal – devoted – sweet – and his grand apartment was once the royal library. Freaking cool place to call home!

Bettina, the heroine, is a sorceress who has lost her magical power due to….. (not saying – no spoilers).  However, Bett is not without power. She has the ability to create the most intriguing weapons and jewelry.

I don’t want to give too much away about the story BUT I will say the story revolves around a tournament for her hand in marriage. However, it’s not a cut and dry case of Trehan going in and whooping some ass. That wouldn’t be as gripping as the story she presented to us. Let me tell you, it’s a page turner!

This story, as with all her others, was superbly written. No detail was left out. She once again dazzled us with her imagination in regards to locations, characters, and plots.

An Erotic Romance – Aron McCoy has sworn off women – except for sex. When Libby Fontaine arrives at Aron’s Tebow Ranch, she is determined to cram a lifetime of living into a few short months. The doctor has told her that she can’t count on her remission from leukemia being a permanent one. Their attraction to one another is instantaneous and overwhelming. But when Aron finds out that Libby is innocent – he backs off. He has nothing to offer a girl who deserves white lace and promises. Then Aron catches Libby pleasuring herself in his stock tank and hears her cry out his name – and the heat is on.

Review

I wondered how to start this review and then it came to me, I would speak about the quirky catchphrases Libby uses throughout the story. Example: Cheez-n-Crackers. My first impression was “Who speaks like this in real life?” Then after I yelled out “Hot Dog” to my husband, I realize I do. As for using words like “winkie”, it may not be sexy or romantic but it wasn’t supposed to be used in that context. I found myself laughing and again when Aron yelled back  “He did not have a winkie.” Sable did a marvelous job in showing the playfulness and sexiness between these two people.

I want to give high marks to Sable for painting a wonderful picture of Tebow Ranch. Her descriptions of the McCoy men were top notch too. It was easy to step into the pages and feel like you were right there with them.

This story had many emotional highs and lows. Your heart will most definitely ache for several characters. Just you wait!

My only negative comment isn’t really about her writing but more of a grumble on my end. As I was reading the story, Libby kept making these wonderful meals. Sable described them so well that my stomach was growling. So Sable dear, if by some chance you read this post I have a small favor to ask, please send me the recipes!
