Ocean’s Three: Made in Heaven by Elena Kincaid (Book Review)

[Siren Ménage Amour: Erotic Paranormal Ménage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, spanking, HEA]

Cameron Pompeo has always seen things, felt things, he could not explain, the biggest of which is a young girl named Jocelyn, who appears nightly in his dreams. When his cousin Reed Pompeo suddenly shows up in his dream, Cameron realizes that not only does Jocelyn exist, but she will be important to them both.

After a tragic accident kills her mother, Jocelyn Parker struggles with her guilt. She pushes away the two most important people in her life as a form of self-punishment and tries to convince herself that she made them up, despite the fact that a sense in the very depths of her soul tells her that they’re real.

A cruise to the Mediterranean finally brings the three of them together. There, they make real memories and promises to each other, but what happens when the cruise is over? Will their love be strong enough to survive the outside forces that threaten to destroy their happiness?

~~  Excerpt ~~

“I don’t really have the right to tell you who you can or can’t be with.” She cast her eyes downward. Cameron thought she was trying not to cry.

“You have every right, Jocelyn,” Reed interjected.

“How can you say that?”

The elevator door opened just then, letting on two new passengers. The three of them remained silent the rest of the way down to Jocelyn’s floor. They continued their silence as Cameron and Reed followed Joss as she walked to her cabin. When they reached her door, Cameron asked for her key card and slid it into the slot.

“I didn’t know the two of you were real,” she said when they entered her room. She sat down on the edge of her bed. “I left you three years ago. I certainly don’t expect—”

“Stop it, Joss,” Cameron demanded.

There’s no one else, dollface.”

“What about Taryn?” she asked, looking up at Reed.

Reed quickly explained the circumstances that brought him and Cameron on the cruise. “It’s always been you, Jocelyn.”

“For both of us,” Cameron added.

Jocelyn looked down at her feet.

“I’m not sure she understands yet,” Reed said playfully.

“Hmmm.” Cameron walked over to Joss and sat beside her. She squeaked when he pulled her over his knee. “Maybe we need to show her.”

“What are you doing?” she asked, struggling weakly.

Cameron chuckled. She definitely could have tried harder to free herself from her current position, he thought. “Something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time.” He hiked up her dress, revealing pink cotton boy shorts, and rubbed her ass in a slow sensuous circle.

Reed sat next to him on the bed to enjoy the view, no doubt. Cameron slowly pulled her panties down, leaving them wrapped around the lower part of her thighs, exposing her to their gaze. Reed reached out to stroke the globes of her beautiful round and shapely ass. He then slid his finger slowly up and down her slit.

“I think she’s turned on,” he said, his voice gravelly. “So pretty.”

Cameron tilted his head to the side to get a better view. She’s not the only one turned on.

Jocelyn’s responsive moan was low and breathy, and her body protested when Reed removed his finger. He gave Cameron a slight nod, after which a sharp slap resonated in the room, immediately followed by a surprised squeak. Cameron rubbed the stinging area, generating another moan from Joss.

“You’re ours, Joss”—slap—“and we are all yours. No one else’s, baby.” After another slap, another moan, and another gentle rub, he asked, “Do you understand?” He slapped her ass again when she didn’t respond. “I”—smack—“Asked”—smack—“You”—smack—“A”—smack—“Question”—smack.

“Yes! Yes!” she panted. “Yours.”

“Good girl.”

This time Cameron nodded at Reed, who immediately slipped first one, then two fingers inside Jocelyn’s wet channel. She bowed her head and fisted the sheets in front of her as Reed pumped his fingers in and out of her, while Cameron rubbed her ass in slow, sensual circles. She looked so fucking sexy, Cameron thought, splayed out like she was over his knees, panting, moaning, whimpering. His cock was an iron rod, painfully straining against the zipper of his jeans and protesting that he would not be able to sink into her lush body tonight. Tonight, it would have to be about her pleasure and he and Reed enjoying the act of giving it to her. The image of her glorious ass in the air, marked with his handprints, legs spread apart, beautiful, wet, pink pussy on display, would both torment and excite him until he could finally claim her.

Jocelyn emitted a low throaty sound followed by a loud cry. Her body arched, her knuckles whitened as she fisted the sheets tighter, and then her hips jerked repeatedly at what must have been a very powerful orgasm.

Cameron gently maneuvered her into a sitting position on his lap and wiped away her hair from her damp forehead. She was still shaking in his arms. Reed, who remained in the same spot on the bed next to Cameron, rubbed Jocelyn’s back in circles until her body calmed and her heavy breaths became steady.

“I wish I would have seen your face when you came, Joss,” Cameron said, his own breathing labored. He was sure she could feel his hardness underneath her. “You look so beautiful all flushed and sated like you are.”

She smiled shyly up at him. “I had some help.” She reached back to give Reed a soft caress. “From two very talented men.”

“Talented, huh?” Cameron chuckled. “This was just a tease, baby. I’ll show you talented.”

(review request submitted by the author for an honest critique)

Once upon a time, Paul Walker (actor) spoke these words… “I used to believe in one true soul mate, but not anymore. I believe you can have a few.” In Jocelyn’s case, she was lucky to have found two. However, whereas most other people discover their love(s) through casual dating, school, work, or an online dating site, Joss’ soul mates were found in the moments she was traversing through dreamland.

She stumbled up Cameron, then Reed. A connection/friendship was established when they were merely teenagers. A bond that kept bringing them back together through the years. Location for the meet wasn’t ideal, the idea of dream-walking seemed far-fetch, but you can’t deny these three were absolutely fated to meet.

Cameron, the man with the psychic touch, could see events unfold — some clear as day, some not. He saw the accident which took Joss’ mom away but was unable to prevent it. That powerless feeling was a undoubtedly heavy weight to bear. His “gift” made him make a tough choice later on in the story (towards end of the book). In the end, everything worked out for the best because we all want that HEA. Of course, not all of us are ending the day with two men warming our beds…..

Oh, the wonderful joys of books. It can take you places you’ve never been before. With Elena, she took us to a in-between state where dreams are real and the possibilities are endless.

Speaking us endless possibilities: When the trio conjured up the food and wine, was it calorie free? I sure hope so. I know the men were real, Joss was real, but calories…… No, in my mind, that was the only fake part of their time together.

Their love might’ve started out in another plane, but it didn’t make their feelings any less real. They actually proved love truly knows no bounds.
