Author showcase / Interview with Tiffany Carmouche

Welcome, Tiffany Carmouche!
1. For those who might not be familiar with you, would you be a
dear and tell the readers a little about yourself? How did you get your start in
the writing business?
(TC) My name is Tiffany Carmouche. I began writing in grade school. My father wrote children’s books and my mom was a teacher. They encouraged me from a young age to express myself. When I was a teen I kept a notebook and pen by the bed to capture all of my ideas… Anyway… who am I?  I am a single mom. My angels are my everything. I love to dance. I love good strong coffee with lots of cream and sugar. I love my fans! I love to sculpt and dabble in art. And love to travel and disappear in the beauty of the world. I think that is why I was so taken with Alaska. It truly is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
2. Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, please share how you handle it.
(TC)  I don’t even try to write when I have writers block. There is so much else for me to do. I just come back to it when my muse visits which is often at inconvenient times.  That is my problem… trying to figure out how to be able to capture the ideas of my muse while I am busy doing something else.
3. Contrary to what some people envision about a romance
writer’s life, it’s not all glitz and glam. Well not for the majority of us.
With that bubble sadly busted, when you’re not writing, how to do you spend
your time?
(TC) I do love to travel and I do love to escape. I did it for many years and then settled into an abusive relationship. But, I am now trying to rediscover myself and find away to do all of those fun things I use to do. Most of my time is spent with my wonderful daughters and trying to figure out this business. I still have so much to learn.
4. I know many writers, such as Dirk and myself, keep their
pastime/career a secret. Do those close to you know you write? If so, what are
their thoughts?
(TC) To be honest. It is sad but I had to, especially at work. I was a teacher and writing romance is frowned upon. I am currently searching for a job that it won’t be an issue.
5. If you could choose one book to go to the big screen,
yours or otherwise, which book would you choose and whom would you love see
casted in the parts?
(TC) I would love to see The Impostor, A Love Story on the big screen. I would love Channing Tatum or Chris Evans to star as Dylan, however, my fans are always sending me new adorable men to add to my casting call! As far as Brad, maybe Zac Efron or there is a hot Greek singer that would be wonderful Kostas Martakis.
6. Would you care to tell us what you’re working on now?
That is if it’s not top-secret information. If so, just whisper it in my ear. I
swear it’ll go no further.
(TC) I am working on the fourth book in The Alaska Heart Saga. The third book will be coming out August 15th. I have many novels that are waiting to be written but it is hard to squeeze in the time.
7. Where can we find your stories and is there a particular
reading order?
(TC) You do need to read The Alaskan Heart Saga in order.

The Impostor, A Love Story is the First Book
Obsession and Sacrifice is the Second Book
And Becoming Invisible is the Third Book (Coming out August 15th)

Review The Impostor, A Love Story:
“Wow – what an amazing job Tiffany has done. There wasn’t a moment that I wasn’t engaged with the characters or the plot. The build up of mystery and tension in this suspenseful romantic novel is superbly done. I found myself constantly holding my breath and nervously listening for creaks in the house. There were some beautifully crafted romantic moments that had me swooning for Dylan, and several moments when I shed a tear. Stunning! The novel flowed very well, effectively creating a good balance of suspense, character interaction and the lovely romance. The ending. Oh my! Tiffany, what an ending you have created. I have no idea what to expect for book two, Obsession and Sacrifice, other than I can not wait to read it. And no doubt it will be as wonderful as The Impostor.” -Becky Johnson, Bex and Books

Review Obsession &Sacrifice:
“Excellent! – Obsession & Sacrifice is here & it did not disappoint! The second of the saga gives you a tiny re-cap of the last chapter from the ‘The Impostor’ & sets the atmosphere ready for the roller-coaster of a read that awaits you! Once again the authors’ descriptive writing connects you right at the heart of the outstanding romance, intrigue, suspense & action. Yet again, Tiffany has written another book that I just couldn’t put down. There are so many different aspects to this book & the author has succeeded in making every chapter progress & flow at an exhilarating pace. Overall it’s a 10/10 from me & I’m here pacing the floor again, ready for the next book.” –Nichole Walsh

Review Becoming Invisible:
“The story continues with heart stopping love, mystery, and action. Tiffany can weave a tale of love suspense and mystery like no other. You will smile one minute and then gasp the next and when you think you know the answers HA! New questions will come into your mind! Leaving you wanting more!  I love the strong characters of this book, they love and the fight for what they want and keep surviving.
Saying I loved this book is not really the right word, it is bigger than that word!
I recommend this to everyone because it will not disappoint. “~ Nikki Alper Targum Arc Reader
