Welcome, J S Morbius. For those who might not be familiar with you, would you be a dear and tell the readers a little about yourself? How did you get your start in the writing business?
I am a partially disabled 44 year old father to 9 kids, six of my own and three step children. I began writing when a marriage I was in started to go sour and started to post what I had written on literotica.com, never really thinking my writing would go any further than that.
All writers fear the dreaded “block”. Please tell us how you handle it.
Not very well because when the block hits I get frustrated and try even harder to write which just makes the block even worse. Eventually I end up giving up nd have a few hours on either the playstation or playstation vita to calm myself down.
Contrary to what some people envision about a romance writer’s life, it’s not all glitz and glam. Well not for the majority of us. With that bubble sadly busted, when you’re not writing, how to do you spend your time?
Most people know what I write and most of them don’t bat an eyelid but there is one person who isn’t too happy that I write ‘filth’ as she puts it- still love you though mum.
James Herbert (The Rats was the first novel I ever read)
If you could choose one book to go to the big screen, which book would you choose and whom would you love see casted in the parts?
If I can’t nominate my own book, Star Search, for the big screen treatment then to be honest I’m not really sure. Karen Rose’s thrillers would make good movies though.
Funny you should ask that because I have just started a brand new piece of m/m fiction thanks to a picture I saw while looking for images for my XXX Special in The Crypt of Morbius. So far it hasn’t got a final name but I have one or two ideas I’m playing around with.
All my books can be found at naughtynightspress.com, ARe, Amazon, Smashwords
